After years of life, growth, and quiet creation, I’m nearly ready to share the most powerful album I’ve ever made. “Impossible Things” is a body of work born from the mystery and beauty of life’s in-between places... the sacred, the sorrowful, the redemptive. 

This album is about the people we once were and the people we become. I’m so grateful to have experienced so much of that becoming with so many of you, as the transcendence of music has intertwined our lives together through the years.

There was a dark and strange time when I wasn’t sure if I’d ever be able to make a record again - emotionally, mentally, financially. But these songs just would not leave me, they were the long burning lights at the end of that tunnel. Bringing them into the world became a sort of spiritual imperative for me, come hell or high water. This album is about standing up to the ills of the world, while also holding steadfast onto your softness, your love, your joy, and all the goodness that persists, as the world clamors on. 

But the life lived that gave me these songs is not unique to my experience; I know so many of these experiences are ones we share, despite our different names and storylines. I hope these songs can become friends to you, just as they have to me.
